Admitted to practice in 2013 and called to the bar in 2018, Eleanor specialises in commercial law, including class actions, and insurance. Her experience also includes public law work. She regularly acts for banks, corporate trustees and insurers, as well as individuals. Eleanor has appeared in the High Court, the Full Federal Court, and State Appellate Courts, and appears regularly in NSW Courts of first instance, both led and unled.
Prior to coming to the bar, Eleanor worked at Quinn Emmanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, King & Wood Mallesons and was associate to the Hon Justice Basten on the NSW Court of Appeal. She read for the BCL at Oxford University, which she received with distinction and, prior to that, received her BA/LLB (with first class honours) from UNSW.
