Theresa accepts briefs in a wide range of civil matters. Her main practice areas are commercial law, equity & trusts, regulatory matters, Coronial inquests (including as Counsel Assisting), professional disciplinary (at all levels, including special leave to the High Court), bankruptcy & insolvency, wills & estates, property, defamation, professional negligence, administrative law & appeals.
Theresa has particular expertise in the areas of equity and trusts and is the co-author of the 5th edition of “Equity and Trusts” with Michael Evans and Joseph Power (LexisNexis, 2024).
Before her admission to the Bar in 2011, Theresa worked at Ashurst in commercial litigation (with a focus on financial services litigation) and as the Associate to the Hon Justice Steven Rares in the Federal Court of Australia.
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Accounting Major, distinction average) from the University of Technology Sydney, where she was the recipient of the David & Catherine Barker Prize for Mooting Excellence.
